Westwood - Tournament Scores - Part 1

This year we are holding  the tournament on Two Days at Westwood.  Due to medical emergencies or other committed obligations we wanted everyone to have an opportunity to participate. 

The continuation of our tournament outing will be at Westwood on Sept. 29. Ts next to each name means they choose to count yesterday’s scores for the tournament and will not be eligible to count the score they get on may 29th.

The winners for the Lowest Gross and the Lowest Net for both events will win the event and will be awarded Trophies at our the 65 Club Luncheon in May.  

Congratulations to Charlie Ready for Low Net of 74 of non-participants in the Tournament. Winners of Tournament Low Gross and Low Net we be announced on Sept. 29 after the completion of the second part of the outings. 

These scores and the ones on Sept. 29th will not be included into handicap system. Tom Rayser, who is really appreciated for keeping up the HCP will be able to have the two weeks off.

While we were playing by strict Golf rules for the Tournament, it is not the reason for the higher than normal scores. The greens played fast, the  rough was high and there were two groups ahead of the 65 Club groups who played extremely slow, so most of our players could not get into a rhyme while standing and waiting to hit their ball. These scores and the ones on Sept. 29th will not be included into handicap system. Tom Rayser, who is really appreciated for keeping up the HCP will be able to have the two weeks off.

Next week we will be playing at Golden Pheasant GC and we normally have a Modified shot-gun start. See you next week.
