Scores for White Oaks

First, I would like to welcome Hank Zaleski into the 65 Club and as a member of our golfing group.

Second, Congratulations to Tom Worrell for a Low Gross of 90, and to Rob Fuller for a Low Net of 74.

Third, I would like to Thank all the players who decided to cancel, due to the rain, for calling or E-mailing me early this morning.

Fourth, With 18 players I want to thank you all for showing up on time and playing either 9 or 18 holes. 

We had some minor showers during play, 90 degrees on the front nine fairways was changed to cart-path only on the back nine, but somehow we still managed to have fun.

We were damp but not drenched.

Scores for Best Ball at Golden Pheasant

Thank you Everyone for a great day on the golf course. While some groups faired better then others, I hope everyone had fun, and a great lunch. 

Congratulations to Team One, Ed Rouh, Fred Borgini, and Jack Marchesani with a great score of minus five. 

Your names will be placed on the Best Ball Trophy located at the Club House, and you will be recognized at the 65 Club May Luncheon. 

Next Week Golf, Sept. 30, will be at White Oaks and Tee time is at 9:00  AM.

Best Ball Rules

Best Ball RULES

1. Must use three (3) drives of each team member. If a player is only playing 9 holes, you must use at least two of his drives. NO MULLIGANS !! No give-me!! If playing in a three-sum a fourth drive, shot or stroke is taken sequentially by each member of the team.
2. After choosing the best ball to be played, that ball and all other balls are to be played within one iron club length from the original location but no closer to the hole. (If ball is in a hazard or ruff the ball must remain in the hazard or ruff, it may be moved in the hazard or ruff, but not closer to the hole.
3. No give-me, once a ball is in the cup the hole is finished, (do not tap in a short putt when your partners still may have a chance to sink a long putt and save a stroke).

4. True Score, Count all strokes, No maximum per hole; do NOT stop scoring should your group reach double par.

A scramble is a team event. Enter the team score on your card.  Please put team’s captains name on card. There will be no individual scoring this week.

Centerton - Scores

It was a good day at Centerton Golf Course. The low golf scores shown below reveals the good time we all had today. 

Centerton GC wanted us to have a better time on their course so they donated a box of balls for closest to the pin, and four golf outing for the longest Drive. 

Congratulation to Ed Rouh for a Low Gross of 79 and winning the longest drive which was about 280 yds. Congratulations to Fred Chorpita for the Low Gross of 62, 

and to our Club President Dennis Kille for winning closest to the Pin within five feet seven inches.
