Golden Pheasant Cancelled , Playing Westwood Next Week - Bad News - Good News - Bad News - Maybe Really Not So Good News -

T'is the Season for golf courses to Aerate their Fairways. Golden Pheasant call me today with, The Bad News that Golden Pheasant is Aerating their Fairways next week, Wednesday, 9-2-15, and we would have to play 9 holes twice, don't know which nine, front or back.  The Good News is I was able to switch with Westwood for next Wednesday. The Bad news is Westwood is Aerating their fairways on Monday and Tuesday, so the fairways will not be in the best of condition for play, but we would be able to play 18 holes. The Maybe Really Not So Good News is that should it rain or for some reason that they are unable to complete both front and back fairways on Monday and Tuesday we would be in the same position playing 9 holes twice at Westwood. I will not know if they finish until We get there on Wednesday. Because of the switch of dates we would be playing Best Ball on 9-23-15 at Golden Pheasant. 

Please let your callers know if you are not playing by whatever agreement you have with your caller.

Scores for Westwood & Reminder

It was a hot, humid day on the course at Westwood. We still had 28 players even with the heat and humidity. Thank you everyone for being on time, for with the shot gun start we were able to finish in about four and a half hours.

Ramblewood Scores

Oops, I made my first mistake of the year and it's only August. Last year I got all the way to November before I make a mistake.

I had mistyped Jack Sentman's score, it is 123 not 133. He brought it to my attention asking me to check it.  

Everyone who saw how hard it was for Jack with cart path only I don't blame him for wanting the right score. He was a real trooper, it alway a pleasure golfing with Jack.
