Note that Centerton and White Oaks are 9:00 AM Tee time and November's Tee times are 9:00 AM for the Month, all others are 8:00 AM.

Rancocas Golf Scores and A End of Season Thank You Note!

Congratulations to Butch Brees and Ed Rouh for a Low Gross of 81 and again to Ed Rouh for a Low Net of 73.  We had a one hour frost delay, so our first group did not tee of until a little after 10:00 AM. The good news is the sun came out and there was no wind. The temperature was in the 50s, but felt like the high 60s. It was a great day to finish the season.

I want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving.  I am really thankful for the great group of golfer sharing together our golfing experience this past year. Thankful for the new member who have joined us this year and hopefully you also have enjoyed this season.

Thankful for the effort everyone has made to be on time, calling or E-mailing me either to cancel or to sign up due to changing circumstances, or just telling me you are going to be late.  And thankful for your patients when I either misspelled your name, left your name off one of the list, or putting you on the list when you told your caller or myself that you would not be playing. 

I would like to thank Fran DuVernois and John Mapes for setting up the schedule of 35 outings of which only two were rain outs. Thanks to Tom Rayser who took over the posting of handicaps with the sad and unfortunate passing of Dennis Dobie. 

I hope to see you all on the first Wednesday of April, Course TBD.  Have a great and healthy off season.

Pinelands Scores and a Special Note from Bill Brown

Congratulations to John Taylor and Ed Rouh for a low Gross of 79, and to Fred Chorpita for a low Net of 68. Pinelands has donated a sleeve of golf balls for each Low Gross winner and a Pinelands hat for Low Net.

It was a great day on the course with a few lost balls due to the leaves but we still managed to accumulate many pars and birdies.

Also thanks to Fred Chorpita for the bottled water which was really great since there was not any drinking water on the course.

Please let your callers know if you are not playing next Wednesday, November 25th, the day before Thanks Giving. 

A special note from Bill Brown:

I have a time share in Williamsburg, Virginia, it's a two bedroom unit that sleeps up to eight. It is complete with a living room, dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms and two baths, a washer and dryer, as well as a porch. With it comes six rounds of golf at their championship golf course, it may be 36 holes not sure? If anyone would be interested in renting it, just provide me with the dates they would like in the spring, and I will see if they're available. You can start your week on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Asking, $1,200. Can provide photos.

Westwood Scores

It was not an easy day at Westwood. While the course was in great shape for November, with a little chill in the air, the high rough and some leaves, left many of us spending a lot of time looking for balls. 

But all in all it was a great day to be out on the golf course with just a wind breaker this time of year.
