Call List Update & Reminder for Club Dues

As I will be putting together this year’s 2020 Call list Please let me know you status if you intent to play or not. I know there are many reasons for not playing on every Wednesday and circumstances that prevents one from playing at all. If your intention is to play then remain on the call list. If you know you will not be playing this year due to moving, etc., please let me know. Mike Hall has sent me an e-mail stating that he will not be playing this year due to the distance he has to drive from the shore. Should anyone decide to remove their name from the list, not to play, should the opportunity presents itself to play one or two times, when you are in the area, you are alway welcomed to do so. This E-mail is not meant to discourage anyone from being on the call list or playing, everyone is welcome to do so. I just need to keep the call list up to date.

2020 Season Schedule

With much regrets and the safety of everyone in the golf group we will be cancelling all five of April’s golf outings. This is to go along with the 65 Club Closure which is addressed below. 

We will address all of May’s outings starting May 6th in the middle of April to see what the status of the virus is at that time.

Practicing a little putting does not hurt either. 

I will send out more details as we get closer to the starting date.

Start of our Season is Approaching & Please Label your golf clubs

As we are getting closer to the golfing season, I want to remind everyone that they should have labels on their clubs. Last year we did pick up clubs from some groups ahead of us. Most had labels but there were a few that did not. I get the below advertisement and have used these labels which are quality and easy to read on lost clubs. It also helps if you are playing with another person using the same make clubs as yours. What you use please mark you clubs for this coming season. I will  be sending out the line up shortly, Fran DuVernois and John Mapes have again done a great job of putting together a great season of golf courses

HINT...

Another cheaper method is to use the return address stickers that so many of us get. Just add your telephone number under your name, apply the sticker to your clubs and cover with scotch tape.
