Valleybrook Scores

We ended up with 23 players at Valleybrook after several cancellations. 

Congratulation to Butch Brees & Ed Rouh for Low Gross of 83, and to Tom Grimes and Ross Levitsky for Low Net of 72.

The Course was in great shape, and somewhat difficult to play. When the Sun came out with about six holes left, it took the energy out of what was left of a tiring round. 

It was commented from the Valleybrook staff that our organization and pace of play was exceptional for a large group and would like us back more often. 

Next week we are at the Links, Kings Grant, Marlton. It is also a difficult course and like Valleybrook is fun to play.

Our get well wishes go out to John Drew who is in the hospital and will not be joining us for a couple of months and to Bill Rommelman who broke his arm and will be in a cast for six weeks and a brace for four additional plus weeks. Both of you get well soon.

Pennsauken Scores - Have a Safe Memorial Day Weekend

Congratulations to Ed Rouh and Paul Zambito for Low Gross, 80 and to Bill Rommelman for Low Net, 64. (FYI, Butch Brees was there and gave it his best shot but Ed and Paul were not to be beaten).

We had a great day at Pennsauken with the sun shine weather, grass filled fairways and hard, fast greens which gave everyone a challenge putting. 

The Pro at Pennsauken thanked us for coming out and being ready for our tee times, especially those starting on the back nine for the modified shotgun start.

He also stated that to speed the line for signing in and paying, paying by cash would do that. It was his suggestion, not a requirement.

Have a safe Memorial Day Weekend. Say a prayer for those Military Men and Women who gave their all, and a prayer for their families. May God Bless their souls.

If anyone questions why we balance out the handicaps per team in the 65 Club Master’s scramble in the fall,  the scores below tell the reason why.
