Westwood scores

Apparently I did not go far enough in checking the scores. After receiving a call from group one's leader and reviewing Group One's score card completely, that is, the additions of all the holes and correcting the number of holes that were even, minus ones and minus twos. The finial tally and correction of actual entries, group one had a 70 for total score and ended up with a minus one for the sole win of the Scramble.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

After reviewing the score cards and double checking to be sure I found a few cards had used the Women's Par total of 72 for their finial tally, not the men's total Par of 71. 

This added a stroke to the score card of a few groups who used the women's Par total. I will save the cards should anyone have any questions.

The good news is, instead of having one winner we now have a tie with groups 1 and 7 with a score of a plus one. 

Both groups' names will be placed on the trophy at the 65 Club Building and those individuals will be recognized at the May Luncheon. 

Congratulations to everyone in each group and thank you everyone for your full cooperation of being on time.

Week - 27 - White Oaks

Centerton GC Scores & INFO

Next week is the 65 Club Golf Master's Scramble / Best Ball at Westwood GC. The preparation to balance the HCP and keep the teams equal requires a fair amount of time on my part.

I am requesting that if you are committing to play, that unless it is an emergency, that you do not cancel once the line-up is sent out on Monday night. 

Normally the cancellations are not a problem, I am pretty flexible, but because of the work involved for this outing I need everyone's cooperation.

Congratulations to Hank Zaleski for a Low Gross of 81 and to Fred Borgini for a Low Net of 63. 

I thought it was a great day since we had a shotgun start and the wether was dry, unlike the fairways and greens for the first five holes which caused the ball to roll a little slower.

The only downer was the lack of a cook so there was no lunch after the match. Goods News, the bar was open.

Also Congratulations to Hank Zaleski for being closest to the pin on hole number 7 at 12'9", and to Bob Warner for closest to the pin hole number 12 at 15'. 

Each will receive a gift certificate for a two sum for a round a golf at Centerton GC.

So, congratulations to Butch and Courtney for Low Gross and to Courtney for low Net.  Everyone is still invited to buy ticket for the May Luncheon and see the presentation of Trophies and recognition for Rob Fuller for his hole-in-one at Westwood.
