We
had 22 players at the links yesterday. We were lucky we had no rain or thunder
showers.
WE
were able to accommodate 2 walk on golfers into our groups so they did not have
to wait 3 hours for a Tee Time.
It
was sad to hear that Yesterday afternoon, at the Burlington GC, a golfer was
struck by lighting and died from his injuries. You do not have to be holding a
club to be struck by lighting. Always play safe, no matter what the
circumstances may be!
It
was extremely hot and it looked like as few of us ran out of gas on the last
four or five hole.
The
last group played 14 holes, for their scores I counted only the back 9 as we
only count full 9 or 18 holes for the purpose of HCP calculation.
Congratulations
to Chris Underwood and Courtney Malcarney for scoring Low Gross of 88 and again
to Courtney for scoring Low Net of 69.
Since
we are playing Pennsauken next Wednesday I have included a general distribution
E-mail from them, requesting that all ball marks be fixed.
