Best Ball Scramble Rules
1. Must use three (3) drives of each
team member. If a player is only playing 9 holes, you must use at least two of his
drives.). NO MULLIGANS !! No Breakfast Ball!! If playing in a three-sum a
fourth drive, shot or stroke is taken sequentially by each member of the team.
2. After choosing the best ball to be played, that ball
and all other balls are to be played within one iron club length from the original
location but no closer to the hole. (If ball is in a hazard or ruff the ball
must remain in the hazard or ruff, it may be moved in the hazard or ruff, but
not closer to the hole or onto the fairway.
- Give me are with in one foot or the length of the
leather grip on the putter. Once the ball is in the cup the hole is
finished, (do not tap in a short putt when your partners still may have a
chance to sink a long putt and save a stroke).
- True Score,
Count all strokes, No maximum per hole; do NOT stop scoring should your
group reach double par.
