Thanks you for getting to the course on time. The
modified shotgun start worked out well and despite our scores, the pace of play
was good.
Except for some wind, high rough, temporary tee boxes
and fast greens, it was a great day for golf. Unfortunately, while
there were a lot of birds on the course, none of us got any. Overall it was a
tough day. We had more scores over 100 than under 100.
Congratulations to Fran DuVernois for a low gross score of
92 and to Fred Chorpita who was the only golfer to have three pars*.
(Note: The 6th hole which was listed as a par 5/4 was a par
4 for us, not a par 5.) All of our scores are listed below but, due to the fact
that I do not have current handicaps for everyone, the net scores are
not.
Hope to see all of you next week at Golden Pheasant.
