Pennsauken RAIN-OUT

Good Morning Everyone,

Below is the Email I got from Fred Borgini.  "Fran, Jack and Harry Aharon, Dennis and I showed up around 7:30. The pro shop door was locked but there was someone inside who essentially ignored us. There was one golfer we saw on the first hole with a pull cart. After about 15 minutes we came to our senses and decided to bag it. At this moment it looks like a good decision". Thanks Fred for the update.

We will count yesterday's outing as a rain-out. Thank you everyone who emailed me stating that you decided not to play. Since I had nine people, basically three groups,  who did not cancel, I wasn't going to call a rain-out for those who wanted to play in the rain.  If I had known that there would be only Five People I would have called the rain-out.

Golden Pheasant GC - Scores

Thank you for getting to the course early this morning. Even though we were not able to have a shotgun start and despite the sun glare, wet grass and leaves that made it difficult to find balls, the pace of play was very good and a number of you had very good rounds.

Congratulations to Butch Brees for the low score of the day with an 81, despite an eight on the third hole and to Wayne Natale for the low net score of 65. I would also like to acknowledge ringer Group # 4 (Butch, Fran, Roy and Ed) that combined for a total 23 Pars and 6 Birds. (Note to Mike - Make sure that you don't let that group play together again.)

Kings Grant GC Scores

Thanks you for getting to the course on time. The modified shotgun start worked out well and despite our scores, the pace of play was good.

Except for some wind, high rough, temporary tee boxes and fast greens, it was a great day for golf. Unfortunately, while there were a lot of birds on the course, none of us got any. Overall it was a tough day. We had more scores over 100 than under 100.

Congratulations to Fran DuVernois for a low gross score of 92 and to Fred Chorpita who was the only golfer to have three pars*.

(Note: The 6th hole which was listed as a par 5/4 was a par 4 for us, not a par 5.) All of our scores are listed below but, due to the fact that I do not have current handicaps for everyone, the net scores are not.
