Westwood Scores - and info on our handicap system.

Congratulations to Butch Brees for Scoring Low Gross of 80, and to Peter Trentacoste for Scoring a Low Net of 65.

This pass week I had a couple of questions concerning handicaps. 
Handicaps are updated weekly to the and including the previous week and are shown on this weeks score sheet under HCP .
Thanks to Tom Rayser who has continued to keep the HCP updated.
We use a formula that is unlike the PGA, etc., that takes into account morning balls, mulligans, give-me, and relief from tree roots without penalty.
HCP are based on everyone playing from the yellow or number 3 tees.
By our formula your Handicap will be lower than a PGA or GIN, but only by two or three strokes. 
You cannot use our handicaps when a handicap is required for play outside our league.

I apologize for any confusion that I may have caused changing the line-up this morning due to cancellations, it was just crazy for me.
