Pinelands' Scores

What a surprise we had at Pinelands. It poured rain while driving all the way to Pinelands GC. As soon as we got off the Free Way onto RT. 73, it stopped. 

Fortunately for us the Golf Course only had a little rain last night so we were able to drive our carts onto the course with no restriction. It did not rain until late in the afternoon after we all got home.

We had 16 players show up, for the others there was no way anyone could have thought how great the weather would be. 

The temperature held in the low 70s, mostly over cast with little sun and the course is getting into good condition.

Congratulation to Harry Aharon with a Low Gross of 84 and to Charlie Ready for a Low Net of 63. 

Thank you to everyone who showed up and to all the others letting me know early that they decided not to play.

Golden Pheasant GC - Scores - Next Week Pinelands GC

Sorry I had to miss Golden Pheasant but I had to spend three days on the beach with a cool breeze and water temperature around 75. I heard it was not so great here with heat, cart path or rough only.

Congratulations with a Gross Net of 81 to Butch Brees, and for a Low Net of 69 to David Restrepo. 

Next week, Sept. 1st, we will be playing at Pinelands GC. As of now there will not be a modified shotgun start.

White Oaks Scores

Thank you everyone who either gave me their score cards or E-mailed them to me. Putting the number of pars, birdies next to each person’s finial score is a big help. 

Many scores were higher than normal since the course was in terrible shape from the dried out fairway, sprinkler system wire laying on two fairway, to the greens with damage grass, lack of it and weeds.

It only cost us $39.00 but I would rather pay $45.00 and play on courses like Pennsauken and Golden Pheasant.

Congratulations to Butch Brees for a Low Gross of 82 and to Harry Aharon for a Low Net of 71. 

Next Week is at Golden Pheasant with a 8:00 AM Tee Time. Brian normally gives us a Modified Shotgun Start, but there is no guarantee due to course maintenance.

FYI, if you are wondering why I sometimes put information on the course conditions or wether condition, is that many people who receives this update are no longer playing and like to see how everyone is doing.
