Rancocas Scores and Parade Info

What great weather we had today at Rancocas GC. Congratulations to Butch Brees, trying to start his winning streak again, with a low gross of 81, and to Ed Karcher with a low net of 66. Well done.

Next week is the 4th of July and we will not have an outing that day. On July 11, we will be playing at Westwood GC and they will normally  give us a shot-gun start. 

If you have not contacted me and wish to walk with the Haddonfield’s 65 Men’s Club on the 4th, we will meet between 9:30 and 9:45 at the corner of Kings Hwy. and Chestnut Street at Saxbys’ coffee shop. The dress code will be white shirt and dark, blue or black, pants or shorts. Also please wear your 65 Club hat. We will not be wearing the moron 65 club aprons. The parade is about a 45 minute, one mile walk. If you don’t make the parade, I will see you in two weeks.

Westwood Scores - Haddonfield 4th of July Parade

The course at Westwood proved a little difficult for some of us, due to the speed and slop of the greens and the high ruff along the fairways. 

Congratulations to Ed Rouh for a Low Gross of 83 and to Mike Hall and Terry Hennessy for a Low Net of 70. 

On the 4th of July the 65 Club will be walking the Haddonfield Parade at 9:00 AM. The parade is a mile long and last about one hour. Since I am Chairperson of the 65 Club Parade Committee I need as many volunteers as possible to walk with us. 

We will be wearing white shirts and dark blue or black pants. The theme of our group is 100 years of the end or WWI. If you are free on that morning and willing to walk, please let me know and I will let you know location and meet time. If you are a member of the 65 Club you should be getting a call asking if you are able to walk from one of our committee members.  If you do not get a call please let me know if you are available to walk in the parade.
