Pinelands GC Scores

We had a good outing at Pinelands for the fairways were well drained from the rain the night before. A few holes had some aeration in a small section in front of the green, so if your ball hit in that area, it did not run up on to the green. The greens were somewhat difficult, as the speed varied from green to green, some being super fast while others were just plain slow. The scores for the group were a little higher then from previous outings at Pinelands. And as usual the lunch was gourmet, provide by Cathy.

Next week is Kings Grant with a 8:00 Tee Time. They normally give us a shotgun start off the back nine. 

Congratulations to Ed Rouh for a Low Gross of 84, and for a three way tie for Low Net of 69, to Fred Chorpita, Mike Hall and Charlie Ready.

Ramblewood Scores

We had two guests today, Fr. Joe DiMauro of Christ the King Parish, who was the guest of Courtney Malcarney and Tony McDonald who was a single walk-on at Ramblewood and joined one of our threesomes. Tony may join us next Wednesday at Golden Pheasant.

Congratulations to Hank Zaleski and Butch Brees for scoring a Low Gross of 84 and to Chris Underwood for scoring Low Net of 69 as regular players of the 65 Club Golf Group. It was fun playing with and watching Tony score a 79 with 11 pars and 1 birdie, and Chris having his best round of the year.

Haddonfield Fire Company No. 1 Golf Tournament

The Haddonfield Fire Company No. 1 is sponsoring a Golf Tournament at Pennsauken on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. 

Butch Brees is the Tournament’s Chairperson.

This is their First Tournament and the price is very reasonable. If you normally play with the 65 Club Golf which is scheduled for White Oaks on that date, you will receive a special dispensation from the golf gods to play in the Fire Company’s Golf Tournament.

The fee is $100.00 dollar per person, get a foursome together and sign up the cost is only $350.00. You cannot play in any golf tournament any cheaper. Tom Grimes has express an interest in playing and would like to get a foursome together.

You can contact Butch Brees on his cell phone, (609-313-6648), and let him know you want to play with Tom.
