We
had a good outing at Pinelands for the fairways were well drained from the rain
the night before. A few holes had some aeration in a small section in front of
the green, so if your ball hit in that area, it did not run up on to the green.
The greens were somewhat difficult, as the speed varied from green to green,
some being super fast while others were just plain slow. The scores for the
group were a little higher then from previous outings at Pinelands. And as
usual the lunch was gourmet, provide by Cathy.
Next
week is Kings Grant with a 8:00 Tee Time. They normally give us a shotgun start
off the back nine.
Congratulations
to Ed Rouh for a Low Gross of 84, and for a three way tie for Low Net of 69, to
Fred Chorpita, Mike Hall and Charlie Ready.
Have
a Happy and Safe Labor Day Weekend,
Mike
