Haddonfield 65 Club Golf Schedule 2017

I hope all is well with everyone. I know some members have had some major, medical issues and you have been in my prayers. I hope everyone will be able to play this season. 

The 65 Club Golf Season will begin in six weeks. Below the following Schedule is the list of callers with the names of those they are to contact. Hank Zaleski has volunteered to help with the calling so the list has been revised from last year. Please check the list to see who your caller is. If for some reason you are not playing this year, please let me know so that I can remove your name from the caller’s list. 

You should contact your caller by Noon on Sunday and the caller should E-mail me by 9:00 PM, so that I have the information available by Monday Morning. I have to contact each course that we are scheduled to play by 8:00 AM on the Monday with the total count of players prior to Wednesday’s play.

Like last year, I request that everyone be at the course a half hour prior to the First Tee Time. I will try to get a many shotgun starts as possible. For those courses that I know will not give us a shotgun start, I will list the time you should be there at the course so you are not waiting over an hour to tee off.  This half hour allows time for you to pay and be ready to tee off on time and it give me time to rearrange four-sums if required due to cancellations or no shows.  If you are scheduled to play and need to cancel for whatever reason please contact your caller and me as soon as possible.  

We will have 33 outings this year starting on Wednesday, April 5, and ending the week before Thanksgiving, on Nov. 15. On May 10, we will have our Fun Best Ball at White Oaks. There are no prizes or trophies for this outing, just having fun without any pressure. On Sept. 13, at Ramblewood is our Master’s Tournament where the Low Gross and Low Net will be awarded Trophies at the Club 2018, May Luncheon. Then on Sept. 27, is the Master’s Best Ball at Westwood. The winning team will be recognized at the 2018 May Luncheon with their names being placed on the Best Ball plaque at the club house.

Please let me know by E-mail that you have received this letter and attachments. This way I will know if I missed anyone.

 Remember to get in shape, swing a club, go to the driving range, and even play a few rounds be for our season starts.

Please Read These Two Important Notes

• There are a couple of courses that will not give us a shot-gun start. One of them being Pennsauken. So rather then have you waiting for an hour or more to tee off, I will assign Tee times for a few groups. This will allow me to make adjustments for cancellations etc.

• PLEASE let your caller know by whatever arrangement you have by 5:00 PM Sunday. That will let me know who is playing Sunday evening. If you are not sure about the weather, how you will be feeling, etc., Sign-up to play, It is easier to cancel players then it is to add them after I've given the total count to the golf course early Monday morning. Do not make a habit of canceling every Tuesday.
