Ramblewood Scores

This is a reminder that the 65 Club will have it's May Luncheon on Thursday, May 12 at 12 Noon. There are thee selections from the menu to choose from. The cost is 30.00 per person. Wives are also invited to attend. Pat and I will be attending.

During the luncheon there will be entertainment and awards will be presented for the best Bridge Player, Best Bowler, Best Pinochle Player and of course, trophies for Low Gross, Low Net from our Master's Tournament and recognition for the tree player from our Masters Best Ball Scramble for 2015.

The 2015 MastersTournament winners  for Low Gross is Ed Rouh, Low Net is Bob Crocker, and Masters Best Ball are, Fred Borgini, Jack Marchesani and Ed Rouh. It would be nice if everyone could attend to receive their awards and recognition.

It was a cold day on the golf course at Ramblewood. We managed to complete the 18 hole round in about 4 hours. Well done, everyone.

Good Evening Everyone,

Look at the sky tonight, it is a full moon. I thought that may be the case. One golfer who did not show up actually went to the wrong course then to another wrong course, met a few friends there and decided to play there since it was already late. 

Then we had another person who was late due to the heavy traffic in the area. Then there were the two golfers who made the wrong turn after the nine hole and ended up playing a few holes over again. Then we had three player tied for low gross with score of 83.

Yes, there is a full moon. But what a great day to be out on the golf course.

Congratulations to John Taylor, Butch Brees and Ed Rouh for a low gross of 83 and to Ed Karcher for a low net of 71. An outing well done by all.

Golden Pheasant Scores

I want to thank everyone, players and callers for having everyone's name who was playing to me on Sunday night. 

Wednesday started out with a frost delay so the first groups, shot-gun start, did not tee off until a little after 9:30. The weather was rather comfortable with a warm sun and a minimum breeze, still a little cold. Everyone finished within four hours. 

Congratulations to Butch Brees for a Low Gross of 87, and to Dennis Kille for a Low Net of 72. 

The handicap for Neal and any other new golfer to our group will be established after they have played three time with us.  

Our handicaps are normally lower then the USGA handicap due to the fact that we play from the senior forward tees, and we have one Mulligan per 18 hole. We also give relief from roots, rocks, etc., without a stroke penalty. 

We take the game serious but we also want to have fun and don't want anyone to hurt themselves or break any clubs. 

Please contact your callers on Sunday by whatever arrangement you have so that I will have that information by Sunday night.
